Frequently asked questions:

What should I do if oxidation spots occur during the use of a mocha kettle?

1. The traditional mocha pot is made of aluminum alloy material, and oxidation spots are inevitable during use. In addition, coffee contains acidic substances, and contact with aluminum material may also cause corresponding discoloration. Therefore, timely cleaning and drying are important;

2. If there are indeed oxidation spots, don't worry, material oxidation is harmless to the human body;

3. Try using citric acid or vinegar for cleaning (oxidation spots are difficult to remove and the effect is not guaranteed)

How to clean after use?

Wash with warm water after each use, do not use steel wire balls or frosted materials for cleaning, and the detergent should not have strong alkalis. The rubber ring and filter gasket at the bottom of the upper kettle also need to be disassembled and cleaned, as coffee grounds accumulate in the gaps of the rubber ring, which is prone to mold. After flushing, separate the upper pot, funnel, and lower pot for ventilation and air drying, and assemble them again for next use (do not install directly, as it is not ventilated and can easily cause odor and oxidation)

How to maintain if not in use for a long time?

It is recommended to regularly check and replace the rubber ring on the kettle to prevent aging from affecting the taste and extraction effect. If the mocha pot is not used for a long time, it can be returned to the cardboard box or stored in a dry and ventilated place.

Precautions for use:

1. Do not use the lower pot alone for heating, and do not open the lid to check during the cooking process. Hot water can easily splash and cause burns;

2. If the temperature is too high, it will cause the handle to melt. If using gas firepower, it is recommended not to exceed the diameter of the pot bottom;

3. When adding water to the kettle, do not exceed the safety valve. When the water boils, gas will spray out from the safety valve, and the safety valve will lose its protective effect.
